I must admit in the beginning I had some anxieties about writing a paper for Composition II...However, Professor Campbell's teaching style made all the difference. Her approach to each element of writing from the free writing through the post-outline draft, as well as using varies techniques as discussion board exercises, preempted the stress which I had anticipated. So, Professor Campbell, Thank You!! I learned more about writing in this course than I had with others. For example, the paramedic method and post-outline draft are new techniques which I've never used before this course. They both were a little awkward, but helpful options to the editing process...Still learning; that's a good thing!! :-}
All the best!!

Finally Final...
I approached this writing course with a new attitude about writing...let go of the fears, relax and learn. I'm sure it had a lot to do with Professor Campbell's teaching style and the faith I have in myself. Do not get me wrong, there's still plenty of room for improvement. However, embracing the experience as an opportunity to become a better writer adds value to the whole purpose. In the past I struggled with procrastination and writers block with other writing assignments. This time I committed to making a schedule and sticking to it which helped in the process of starting the research paper early. In turn there was less anxiety and stress!! Ironically, I have another paper due for another course, but it's all good. I'm applying the same principals.

Why Stop Now??
Blogging is a nice touch to the writing course. It give students the liberty to opening speak on matters of the heart or just to get the thought juices flowing. Though they are similar, I like Blog better than Facebook. I rarely go onto my Facebook page, mainly because I do not like the fact of having everyone thoughts out in the open...somehow blogging feels different; probably because the comments are not visible unless you click on it. Also, unlike Facebook, you can be creative with the background design and page layout. Many of my peers created some unique and exciting background for their blog page, which I'm still learning how to do %-))
With that being said, I will continue to blog...so please keep in tough!!

Peer to Peer...
The peer to peer exercise for this week unit was very helpful to me. The comments and feedback I received was honest and truthful, especially since the responses were similar. When I read my paper (aloud), I could hear and understand the confusion. So for me, the feedback, suggestions and input from my peers gave my paper a fresh set of eyes, which in turn opened my eyes to rewrite some sections. In return, I hope I was able to help my peers as they helped me...
You know, the funny thing is I like to write...but it's mainly jotting in my journal. There's a big difference when your thoughts are shared. It's like being put on a stage...the performance must be just right!

On The Road
This week I will be traveling to New Bedford, Mass. for my job. I do not know yet what my schedule would be like and how it's going to interfere with my schooling. For example, I may miss Wednesday’s seminar…this has really come at a bad time for me!! I will be taking my laptop in hope of continuing my studies. I cannot afford to get behind at this stage of the term!!

It's All Good...
This week has been very challenging...My job has now decided it wants to change the culture of the company. With that being said, next week I will be attending a ten week course called Face the Challenge. I do not know how I am going to manage...doing both Kaplan and FTC. I will definitely be doing a lot of praying; that's the only way, giving it to God!!

Jump!!
In November I will be turning 50...half a century!! To celebrate this milestone and before the season change, I've decided to do a tandem ski dive in September. Thrilled and excited, this weekend I told a few friends and family members of my plans and asked them to jump with me. So far, my husband and niece are on board. I am sooo looking to forward to this calling, as I've been told there's no feeling like it...
